/ 4 Helpful Discoveries on Our Journey into Christ’s Fullness, Part 3

Col. 2:12-14 tPt

“He canceled out every legal violation we had on our record and the old arrest warrant that stood to indict us. He erased it all – our sins, our stained soul – He deleted it all and they cannot be retrieved! Everything we once were in Adam has been placed onto His cross and nailed permanently there as a public display of cancellation.”

#3 – Everything we once were in Adam has been placed onto His cross and nailed permanently there as a public display of cancellation. Every time you look to the cross, you shouldn’t see Jesus without also seeing your sin nature, forever canceled. After the cross of Calvary, your sin nature is no longer allowed to follow you into new creation status. Our old sin nature is no longer part of our being. It was placed upon the cross and is part of the union that we share with our beloved Messiah.

We must be delivered from the idea that our union with Christ is our quiet time with Him. “Just give me scripture and some coffee…” NO! Union is you being co-crucified, co-buried, and co-resurrected with Christ. As He is in heaven, so are you and I on the earth. Christ is in me, and I am in Him, and we are in the Father! Holy Spirit surrounds us, rests within us, and remains upon us! We must no longer spend time rehearsing the sin nature in private that was publicly canceled at the cross! This is a revelation we must begin to enter in our new creation
